This website provides information about the 1st East Asia Conference on Extremophiles (November 6–7, 2025).
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 1st East Asia Conference on Extremophiles, which will be held on November 6-7, 2025, at Toyo University, Asaka Campus, Japan. This conference aims to strengthen collaborations among researchers in Japan, China, and Korea working on extremophiles. It will provide a platform for scientific discussions, knowledge exchange, and networking among leading scientists and young researchers in this field.
📅 Schedule:
- November 5 (Wednesday, evening): Welcome Reception (venue to be announced)
- November 6 (Thursday, Day 1): Opening remarks, keynote lectures, oral presentations by young researchers, poster session (with awards), panel discussion, and networking reception.
- November 7 (Friday, Day 2): Keynote lectures, oral presentations, closing remarks, and an excursion in the Tokyo area.

📢 Call for Presentations
We invite oral and poster presentations from researchers in the field of extremophiles. We particularly encourage young researchers (Extremophilers) to submit their abstracts.- Keynote Lectures: 12 slots (Only for those assigned in advance)
- Oral Presentations: 12 slots available (priority will be given to young researchers)
- Poster Presentations: Open to all participants
( Details regarding abstract submission will be announced at a later date.)
